THE PROJECT
Redesign Moms as Mentors site while quickly and clearly communicating what they do and why they do it. Organize and present the many programs Moms as Mentors offers.
THE STRATEGY
Facilitate a design sprint so Design and Content could share inspiration and collaborate on solutions. We coordinated the taglines to be consistent and clear, organized and streamlined the program pages, and reduced cognitive overload for new users.
OUTCOMES
B2B platform design. The organization uses these programs to gain revenue that drives its free programs. They saw an 18% increase in revenue program requests after launch.
New purpose section eliminated duplicate mission statement content while adding clarity for users. Their mission statement was already beautiful, the task for me was making sure there was once clear way to find it and that it wasn’t repeated on multiple pages.
Program Tag Lines
Taglines served to quickly define programs for users in a consistent way. Before this update, these programs were defined in one-pagers that were physically distributed by hand or mail to prospective companies.
Those taglines served as a header for each program page. Content was streamlined into 1 to 2 paragraphs, relevant bullets and contact info. This page was of particular importance to the clients, who want to grow the corporate workshop side of their revenue programs.
We went with bullets to quickly answer questions users might have come in with. A lot of the content benefited from chunking to make it more digestible.
